Is your little one looking for a fun and exciting way to celebrate their big day? Our LBA Dance Parties in Edinburgh are the perfect way to give your birthday star their chance to shine!
Our friendly LBA teachers bring the dance, games, music and entertainment to your chosen venue, creating a party tailored to your child’s age, interests and favourite music.
Depending on the package you choose, parties can include a mixture of dancing, games and fun activities, with the option for the children to learn a short routine to perform to parents at the end.
Whether your child loves dance, acro, musical theatre or simply wants a fun-filled party with their friends, we’ll tailor the entertainment to create a celebration they’ll love.
Getting ready to book your party
Before getting in touch with us, we recommend securing your party venue so that you have a confirmed date, time and location for us to check against our teachers’ availability.
Our LBA party packages cover your dance teacher (and assistant for larger parties) and all of the dance entertainment.
Venue hire, food, drinks, decorations and party setup are arranged separately by you, giving you the freedom to create the rest of the celebration exactly as you’d like it.
We recommend getting everything booked at least one month in advance to give you the best chance of securing an LBA teacher (and assistant, where required) for your preferred date and time. All party bookings are subject to teacher availability.
If you're interested in an Acro Party, please get in touch before booking a venue outside of our regular LBA teaching venues, as we'll need to make sure we have access to the appropriate acro mats and equipment.

Choosing Your Venue
You are very welcome to hold your LBA Dance Party at a venue of your choice. Our teachers can travel to venues across Edinburgh and the surrounding area, subject to availability and reasonable travelling distance.
We simply ask that your chosen venue has:
A suitable hall or open space for dancing and activities
An appropriate floor surface
Access to a sound system with blue tooth that our teacher can connect to
If your venue does not have a suitable sound system, please let us know when enquiring and we can advise whether we're able to provide one.
Venues We Regularly Use
If you're looking for a suitable venue, LBA regularly teaches at:
LBA Studios / Corstorphine Community Centre - Corstorphine
Purpose-designed dance studios with access to LBA dance and acro equipment. Kitchen facilities are limited, so this venue is most suitable for cold party food.
St Thomas' Church - Corstorphine
Hall spaces with kitchen facilities available. We can arrange for our dance/acro equipment to be available here where required.
LifeCare Centre - Stockbridge
Another of our regular teaching venues where we can access our equipment, subject to the centre's availability.
Glencorse Centre - Auchendinny
Party bookings can also be made directly with the Glencorse Centre. Please speak to us first if you're considering an Acro Party at this venue so we can confirm whether the appropriate equipment can be made available.
Venue hire is separate from your LBA party entertainment booking.
Please contact your chosen venue directly to check availability, hire costs, facilities, setup/clean-up requirements and make your booking. Your venue hire agreement is entirely between you and the venue.
Once your venue is confirmed, get in touch with us with your date, party time, venue, number and age of children, and any preferred dance style, theme or music, and we’ll check availability with our teaching team.
